Had an early discussion with a possible App that might use OEB

Timchambers
I reached out to the author of this app:
http://catenabible.com/

The main feature this app has, is extended commentaries by early Church Fathers.

That currently uses the KJ2000 translation of the New Testament: they are looking over OEB now.

The Catana team would be open to use the OEB, but they said they are planning to add this API to their app which they said offers multiple versions of Scriptures some older copyright free.

https://docs.api.bible/docs/faq

they strongly suggested we reach out to them to get the OEB added there. And that then it will get into multiple apps, not just theirs.

The main email to reach out to them seems to be:

support@api.bible

Would everyone be OK if I did so?

And right now this API offers the following translations....

It's a bit confusing as in one part of their documentation they say:

What versions are available?

>>Currently, we are only able to offer the Contemporary English Version (CEV), Good News Translation (GNT), King James Versions (KJV), and the Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR). We want to make as many version available to you as possible, but we have to get all the various publishers on board first. If there is something you really want to have access to, let us know either via email or on our forums and we will do everything in our power to work with you!<<

But in another they list:
